Coburn Free Library
Coburn Free Library
A 100 year old library, Coburn was built for a library.

What Is Coburn Free Library?

Since its opening in 1912, Coburn Free Library has made local history enriching the Owego education scene. Housed in a wonderful building on 275 Main St, the library examines the role of media in a global and historical context, bringing together a wide variety of words from around the world.

Coburn Free Library recognizes the important role of the media in education. We work with educators throughout NY to contribute to our state's overall level of academic excellence. We also host numerous events and special exhibits each year.

All of this wouldn't be possible without our incredibly dedicated and talented library staff. They are here to maintain the collection, plan the exhibits, help patrons and answer all of your questions.
